New Tesla Roadster to hit Dutch streets with €215,000 price tag

Tesla opened deposit payments for the Netherlands for the new Tesla Roadster. The Roadster II comes in two edition, the normal Roadster II or the Founders edition. The Founders edition carries a price tag of 215 thousand euros, the basic series costs 43 thousand euros, Autobahn reports.

The Roadster II can go from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 2.1 seconds, and has a top speed of above 400 kilometers per hour. Tesla also claims that the Roadster II can travel 1 thousand kilometers on one charge and has a torque of 10 thousand Newton meters.

The prices are still a "basic reservation" fee, according to Tesla. Which means that the price may still increase.
