Amsterdam club raises ire over free entry for DD-cup breasts

Club NYX in Amsterdam decided to change the door policy for its SLEAZY party after facing a large amount of criticism. On Facebook the event page read that entry for the party is 7 euros, but women with bra cup size DD can get in for free. Together with the organizers of the party, the club decided to charge everyone entry.

The exception for ladies with large breasts led to confusion and criticism on social media. One visitor to the club asked at the door exactly how this rule works and was told that the bouncers will want to inspect whether women are eligible for free admission, Tessel van Zweege said to Viva. "This club should be a safe place for everyone. It just makes me angry", she said.

Deciding whether to charge entry based on breast size is "no longer possible", the Amsterdam club acknowledged on Facebook "We have therefore decided, in close consultation with the SLEAZY organization, that this will be stopped immediately."

Club NYX also released a statement on Thursday, to make absolutely clear that no woman was asked to show her breasts at the entrance of the club, according to the Telegraaf. The club called the free admission criteria a joke, which fits the theme of the party.
