“Targeted explosion” at doctor’s office in Veldhoven

An explosion completely destroyed the glass entrance of a doctor's office in Veldhoven on Monday evening. No one was injured. The police believe this may be a targeted attack, AD reports.

The doctor's office is located on Windmolen in Veldhoven. The explosion happened around 8:45 p.m. The glass walls of the entrance was knocked out by the blow, and ceiling plates also broke free, according to Omroep Brabant.

The police are investigating exactly what happened. Eyewitnesses told Omroep Brabant that an explosive went off just outside the building. What type of explosive was used, is still unclear. So far nothing is known about the motive of this attack.
