Tilburg tattoo artists raise €7000 for man with eight brain tumors

On Thursday tattoo parlor Bobson Ink in Tilburg had a marathon tattooing session to raise money for local resident Jermaine de Wind. The Tilburg man has eight brain tumors and needs expensive treatment that can only be done in the United States. Bobson Ink raised 7 thousand euros for his cause, Omroep Brabant reports.

The tattoo parlor invited a number of guest artists, who tattooed people all day long. For 100 euros, you could get a tattoo of up to 15 centimeters big. Dozens of people went under the needle on Thursday. The full amount raised was donated to the Mainlife foundation. So far the foundation raised 150 thousand euros of the 250 thousand euros needed for Jermaine's treatment

Jermaine himself was at the tattoo parlor during the marathon event. "I love that they're doing this for me", he said to Omroep Brabant.
