Dead body found outside Amsterdam Tropenmuseum
The body of a man was found next to the Tropenmuseum in Amsterdam on Monday morning. According to the police, the man died a natural death and so far there is no evidence of a crime, Het Parool reports.
The police are still treating the spot where the man was found as a crime scene and are conducting an investigation. The victim's identity is still unclear.
The body was found very near to where an Eastern European man was stabbed to death in Oosterpark on Friday night. The man was stabbed at a known meeting place for gay men, but the police don't believe it was a hate crime. At this stage the police believe it was a mugging gone wrong.
