Justin Jap Tjon was gunned down on Professor R. Csimirstraat around 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31st. Shortly after the shots were fired, several people ran away. According to the police, one of the fleeing people, a man, shouted "help, help" to two young women standing at a tram stop. The police already spoke to the man, but want to get into contact with the two young women. The police also want to talk toa man who put out his trash around 10:30 p.m. - he to spoke with the man who shouted "help" at the young women.

A light colored car was seen driving away from the scene, and the police want to talk to the driver. It is unclear whether this car was a getaway car, or just a car full of witnesses.
