Pastor calls for forgiveness over Tilburg church porn shoot

The pastor of St. Jozef Church in Tilburg started Sunday morning's service with a penance and by sprinkling th church with holy water and asking for forgiveness that the house of God was desecrated by the shooting of a pornographic film in its grounds. Pastor Jan van Noorwegen also reminded his parishioners to repay evil with good, Omroep Brabant reports.

"We need to pray that these people realize the pain they have caused", he said, adding that annoyance, like fear, must not be the foundation of life. "We go in peace, friendship and joy. God wants us to express genuine love, even to those who harm us."

The porn film was made by Kim Holland's channel. She apologized, stating that an external producer made the film and she had not realized that it was being broadcast. This comes only a week or so after the same channel caused outrage with a porn shoot at amusement park Walibi Holland.
