ADO Den Haag fans make sick kids' day with teddy tossing at Eredivisie match

In a massive act of kindness during the Eredivisie match between Feyenoord and ADO Den Haag in Rotterdam on Sunday, ADO fans showered hundreds of teddy bears on sick children seated in the tier below them. Some ADO Den Haag supporters found out that Feyenoord invited patients from the Sophia Children's Hospital in Rotterdam to come watch the match in De Kuip Stadium, and that they'd be sharing the away end with these patients. On Twitter the group of supporters called on the other ADO supporters to make this day an extra special day for the kids. "A call to all away supporters. Take a small soft toy to the game", the call read, adding that supporters should make sure that there were no hard pieces on the toys, as to not injure any of the kids. "Throw your cuddly toy to them in order to make an unforgettable day a lasting memory!" About 12 minutes into the game, the ADO supporters started a countdown and showered the kids sitting below them with hundreds of teddy bears, according to RT. ADO Den Haag thanked their supporters for the thoughtful gesture in a statement on Facebook. "Our mailbox is filling up with compliments and thank yous for fans of ADO Den Haag. Of course we're passing them on!" the statement reads. "We also received some photos of children who, at the invitation of Feyenoord Rotterdam, were in the box." The statement ends with #YNWA - the abbreviation for You'll Never Walk Alone. https://twitter.com/paddypower/status/775285752032796672?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw
