World's largest cruise ship docks in Rotterdam

Harmony of the Seas, the largest cruise ship in the world, arrived in the port of Rotterdam on Tuesday morning. The ship is five times larger than the Titanic with a volume of 227 thousand tonnes, according to ANP. The total construction costs of the vessel amounted to 1 billion euros. The 70 meter vessel has 18 decks and can carry nearly 8 thousand people. The ships total floor area is about the size of 84 football fields. The cruise ship is equipped with a massive water slide, a 43 meter high climbing wall and an ice rink. The Harmony of the Seas, which belongs to the company Royal Caribbean International, left Saint-Nazaire in France on Pentecost Sunday.
