Eindhoven getting ready to celebrate PSV's Eredivisie title

The city in Eindhoven is hard at work getting ready to officially congratulate PSV with the win of the Eredivisie cup. While the victory was celebrated long and hard on Sunday, the official party only kicks off on Monday evening. At 4:00 p.m. there will be a special ceremony at the PSV stadium during which children and people with disabilities can congratulate the players and staff with the title, NOS reports. Around 5:00 p.m. the team will be driven to Stadhuis square for the official ceremony. The team is expected to be on the podium around 6:45 p.m. On Sunday PSV took the Eredivisie title for the 23rd time. For the last match day PSV and Ajax were equal on points. PSV managed to beat PEC Zwolle, while Ajax only managed to draw with De Graafschap, which means the championship when to PSV. Incidentally, the PSV championship is not the only thing being celebrated in Eindhoven today. Hockey club Oranje Zwart also won the national championship. The players will be honored at 5:00 p.m. on the same stage where the football players will make their appearance at 6:45 p.m.
