Game of Thrones actress Carice van Houten decries car crash death rumor

Dutch actress Carice van Houten is safe and sound. And she didn't much appreciate the joke in which an unknown person claimed she died. A photo montage appeared on Twitter on Tuesday showing an image of a serious pile-up flanked with her picture and the expression “RIP”.

The news spread on the social media, deeply worrying her fans. But soon the well-known actress of HBO series Game of Thrones reassured her supporters, bitterly replying to the fake news: “No, that's not me and it's not particularly funny”, she wrote on her Twitter account.

Carice van Houten and her boyfriend, the Australian actor Guy Pierce, are waiting for their first baby in Autumn.
