Video: Birdy gives surprise piano concert at Amsterdam Centraal station

Around noon on Saturday, travelers going through Amsterdam Central Station were met with a surprise performance by English singer Birdy. The performance was announced only 30 minutes before it started, AD reports The English singer played three songs accompanied by a piano. The performance drew a small crowd, who applauded and filmed the experience. Birdy became known in 2008, when she won UK talent show Open Mic at the age of 12, performing a song entitled “So be free” of Bon Iver. Since then she has released three albums, joining the first places in the UK, Netherlands and France charts.
