Girl, 7, found alone on Amsterdam tram, doing well

A 7-year-old girl was discovered traveling alone on a tram in Amsterdam on Sunday night. She got onto tram by herself at IJburg, AT5 reports. The police took her in and immediately started looking for her parents. Around 11:30 p.m. it was decided to have the girl spend the night at the police station. Her parents were found around midnight, but as the girl was already sleeping, it was decided not to disturb her rest. She was reunited with her parents when she woke up on Monday morning and is doing well. At this stage it is unclear why the girl was on the tram by herself.
