Train runs over man’s leg at Amsterdam Centraal

A man was seriously injured on a train platform at Amsterdam Centraal on Monday morning when a train ran over his leg. He was rushed to the hospital. The accident happened around 8:00 a.m. The man fell off the platform and the driver of a departing train did not see him on the tracks, AT5 reports. Witnesses told the broadcaster that the man was under the influence of alcohol. The track was opened to train traffic again around 8:45 a.m., after the victim was taken to the hospital.
