Groningen deli voted country’s cutest shop

The Ariola Delicatessen on Folkingestraat in Groningen was voted the "Cutest shop in the Netherlands" in an online election organized by NL Streets, NU reports. The deli is a small shop with a wide range of Italian specialties. It has an open kitchen where staff members prepare homemade dishes. Customers love the comfortable, warm and non-commercial atmosphere. A close second was bakery Broodje van Eigen Deeg also in Groningen, with only 29 fewer votes. Ariola came in first place with 1,361 votes, Broodje van Eigen Deeg got 1,332.
