Report: Prosecutor caught calling in threats against himself

Suspended prosecutor Lucas van Delft was caught making threatening phone calls against himself, the Telegraaf reports based on information from two sources around the investigation. According to the newspaper, the police have video footage showing Van Delft buying a prepaid SIM card from an electronics store. He later used that same card to anonymously report that he was in great danger. Van Delft's lawyer refused to comment to the newspaper. The Public Prosecutor's National Office also refused to respond because of the ongoing criminal investigation against Van Delft.
