Groningen university named country’s most sustainable

The University of Groningen is the most sustainable university in the Netherlands and the 12th most sustainable in the world on the Green Metric Ranking for sustainability. The university moved up 36 places compared to last year, NU reports. The Unversitas Indonesia evaluated the universities on the list on factors such as environmental friendliness, energy transition and climate change, waste, water, transport and what courses they offer. A total of 407 universities from 65 countries participated. Nottingham University ended in first place.
