Surveillance video shows Amsterdam coffeeshop drive-by shooting
The police released a surveillance video and more information about the drive-by shooting at a coffee shop on Gerard Dousraat in Amsterdam on October 23rd. They hope that tips from the public can help lead to an arrest.
At around 06:00 a.m. on Friday, November 23rd, a car pulled up next to the building on Gerard Doustraad and the occupants of the car opened fire on the coffee shop. Several people were in the shop at the time, but no one was injured.
On Monday, November 26th, the police found the car they believe was involved in the shooting abandoned on the Gulden Winckelplantsoen. The car is a gray Smart ForFour of ConnectCar.
The police would like to make contact with anyone with information abut who left the car on Gulden Winckelplantsoen and how long the car had been standing there before the police found it. They would also like to talk to anyone who witnessed the shooting at the coffee shop.
