ING: Construction to grow more than any other sector

Construction is the fastest growing sector in the Netherlands this year, with an expected growth of 5 percent over 2015. This is according to a sector report released by ING's economic office. "The confidence of contractors has improved significantly over the last two years and is currently already at almost the same level as before the crisis of 2008", according to the report. Housing construction in particular boosting the sector as a result of the improving housing market. The growth in the infrastructure sector - road construction - fell somewhat early this year, but has been improving again in recent months. "The orders are picking up again and therefore we also expect an increase in the volume of the infrastructure for 2015".
