Lightning strikes train injuring engineer

Lightning striking a train injured an engineer in Teuge, Gelderland on Thursday night. The engineer was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries, NU reports based on information from the region's safety office. It seems that the engineer was inured by something that came loose when the lightning struck the overhead line. The incident stranded a freight train and a passenger train. The 19 stranded passengers were taken to Apeldoorn with a replacement train.
