Netherlands wins 29 medals in European Games

The Netherlands won a total of 29 medals at the European Games, including 8 gold, 12 silver and 9 bronze, NRC reports. The gold medals were won by judo athletes Henk Grol, Kim Polling and Marhinde, swimmer Marit Steenbergen, table tennis player Li Jiao, gymnest Lieke Wevers, boxer Nouchka Fontijn and cyclist Ellen van Dijk. The Netherlands ended 9th in the medal standings.
