Three liters of energy drink sickens teen boy

A 15-year-old boy in Zoetermeer was transported to an area hospital after drinking six half-litre cans of an energy drink, a police officer reported on Twitter. Paramedics and police took the call at about 4:15 p.m. on Saturday at the grade school De Watersnip on César Franckrode in Zoetermeer, Zuid Holland. Community police agents working in the area responded to the scene. After the boy was taken to hospital, the officers “visited the parents of the 15 year old boy, and expressed our concern,” one of them said. The energy drink brand was not revealed.
