Missing Gelderland family found in Germany
The seven-person family missing since Sunday from Doorwerth, Gelderland was found in Germany. The whole family, including all five children from newborn to 10-year-old, is in good health, police reports.
The family were found in Gronau, just across the Dutch-German border from Enschede, Overijssel.
After the family was reported missing, their house was searched. Photographs taken at the scene gave the appearance of a violent burglary. Several windows were broken, the couch was slashed, feathers were strewn everywhere and boards were loose, reports Omroep Brabant.
The children were given a farewell party at school on the this past Friday, as the family said they were moving to the United states to live and work there.
