Amsterdam Liberation Day festival announced

The Liberation Day festival in Amsterdam has a new component on the program - Het Amsterdams Verbond (The Amsterdam Covenant), the organization announced on Tuesday. In this new component several Amsterdam organizations and more than 50 DJ's and artists will promote freedom and tolerance in their own way. Among others, the clubs Chicago Social Club and Disco Dolly will share a stage. The main s tage Mokums Paradijs will be filled with artists from the Amsterdam nightlife like Tom Trago, Cinnaman, De Sluwe Vos and Cleavage. There will also be 2 minutes noise. At 20:00 Amsterdam's Night Mayor Mirik Milan will give the signal for 2 minutes' noise for freedom. The music will stop and the audience will be allowed to make as much noise as possible. Ticket sales started last night.
