Vocation students also get museum discounts

From the next school year vocational students will be able to visit museums or cultural events at a discount, Minister Jet Bussemaker (Education and Culture) announced at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam today. According to the Minister, it is important that young people in vocational training also get the opportunity to broaden their cultural world. She has made one million euros available for this Vocational Card. "Our professionals of tomorrow particularly must in addition to expert knowledge also be innovative and creative, especially in a time of technological change." The Minister said. "The MBO Card will be enable thousands of young people to develop these properties" Students can get the Vocational Card from their schools.
