A 43 year old football youth coach of Sport Club Lochem is suspected of having child pornography. The suspect worked at the club for 8 or 9 years and worked with different youth teams, this season he was training the C1 juniors. Club Chairman Jan Brunshorst is shocked. "Our youth members must be able to exercise in a safe environment. As club that is our responsibility." he said, De Stentor reports. The sports club has suspended the suspect and denied him access to the club. The suspect cancelled his membership himself. The police launched an investigation into the man late last month. His computer has been confiscated. He has not been arrested, the Public Prosecutor will later determine whether the man will be prosecuted. The police notified Brunshorst that they found no material between the child pornography that can be traced back to Sports Club Lochem. The club held a closed meeting on Friday to inform parents of the situation.
