ASML employees to get big bonus after record year: report

Chip machine maker ASML will pay two additional monthly salaries to its employees after an outstanding year, anonymous sources told De Telegraaf. The staff will get 16 percent of thier gross annual salary as a bonus, and will find it on their February pay slip. This is in addition to the 13th month. The company would not confirm this rumor and indicated that CEO Peter Wennink will give employees an explanation at the All Employee meeting next week. The director did, however, explain why the company likes to give its employees a share of the pie in good times. "We want to remain an attractive employer for talented staff. They are also important stakeholders", he said.
