Shots fired in Groningen Christmas brawl

The police arrested four Groningen residents (aged 30, 31, 35 and 52 years) after a brawl on Pleiadenlaan last night. Shots were fired during the fight. Officers found two wounded men on Pleiadenlaan after receiving a report of a fight. The two men, aged 30 and 35 years, were involved in the brawl and treated on the spot by ambulance workers. The officers found a knife and a gun on the two men. Their weapons were confiscated and they were arrested. The other two participants in the brawl were arrested later that night. All four suspects are in custody at the police station. The cause for the fight is as of yet unclear, but the police will investigate the matter.
