Over 5,000 fireworks complaints logged in two days

The website Vuurwerkoverlast.nl has already registered 5,061 complaints. Last year there were a total of 90 thousand complaints. The fireworks complaint site went online on Wednesday. Many of the complaints that have been received so far came from the Randstad. Most reports concern very heavy fireworks. Fireworks are not officially for sale yet. Fireworks will be for sale on December 29th, 30th and 31st. The lighting of fireworks is only allowed between 18:00 p.m. on December 31st and 02:00 a.m. on January 1st.
