Over 6000kg fireworks found in tool shed

On Wednesday the police found more than 6 thousand kilograms of fireworks in a shed on Achtervedseweg in Barneveld.

The police found the fireworks thanks to a tip. The fireworks were seized and immediately disposed of. Nitrates and avalanche arrows were among the fireworks that the police found. Illegally storing fireworks is very dangerous. A large amount of fireworks stored in the same place in a residential area can cause a disaster if a fire broke out.
