Hema introduce own-brand smartphones, tablets

Hema starts selling its own smartphones and tablets from Monday. The retailer is the first Dutch store that offers a smartphone and tablet under its own brand. There are two types available in both smartphone (H3 and H5) and tablet (H8 and H10) - a small version and a large version. And each unit is available in black or white. All devices and packaging are designed with the Hema "look and feel". The H3 smartphone offers a 4.5 qHD screen, 4 GB on board memory with a micro SD card slot and a 5 megapixel camera. The H5 smartphone offers a 5 inch HD screen, 32 GB memory and a 8 megapixel camera. The H8 tablet offers an 8 inch HD screen, 8 GB on board memory with a SD card slot, and a 5 megapixel camera. The H10 tablet has a the same stats as the H8, except with an 10 inch HD screen. All these devices run the Android 4.4 KITKAT operating system. All devices come with a two year warranty. The devices don't have a SIM lock, so customers can choose which provider they want to use. They also have dual SIM capabilities, allowing you to have two SIM cards in the phone. The tablets and smartphones are available online from today. The devices will be available in Hema stores from December 8th.
