Ahold sees revenue, profit bumps

According to Ahold's quarterly figures, the supermarket chain has seen turnover and net profit increase in the third quarter. The turnover increased by 1.9 percent to 7.5 billion euro. The Net profit increased with 8 percent to 178 million euro. Ahold is doing better than expected. ING and Rabobank predicted a slight decline in revenue.
