Stabbing in Rotterdam home leaves one dead, one hurt

A man died and another was badly injured during a stabbing incident in a house in Rotterdam last night.

Police report in a tersely worded statement that the report of the incident reached them around 2.30am. Neighbors at Waterloostraat heard someone calling for help and called 112. When officers arrived on the scene they found the lifeless body of the 36-year-old man from Rotterdam in the house. A 37-year-old man from Barendrecht was transported to the hospital with multiple stab wounds. Police say it is not clear as yet what transpired in the house.
