Erasmus training financial crime investigators

The Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) is restarting their program to train financial forensic experts. This postdoctoral program is designed for professionals who investigate financial crime. Since 2003 this type of training has not existed in the Netherlands. The damage of financial crime is currently estimated at over 4,000 billion dollar worldwide." says Erasmus University, "Therefore, there is an increasing demand for financial forensic experts" In the Netherlands more than a thousand professionals are engaged in investigating fraud and other abuses. The training for a financial forensic expert covers a wide range of topics, such as different jurisdictions, auditing, ethics, psychology, criminology and forensic research.
