Majority want retirement age lowered

A poll published today by Maurice de Hond on behalf of the Scientific Bureau of older party 50PLUS showed that 55 percent of voters want to lower the retirement age again. 55 percent of polled voters under the age of 50 said that they want to retire at the age of 65. This percentage rises to 70 percent in people over the age of 50. The poll also showed that people are less in favor of an older party, only 49 percent of polled voters liked the idea of having a special party for over fifties, AD.nl reports.
