Man throws hot soup in cop's face
A homeless man threw hot soup in the face of a police officer after hearing that he would not be allowed to sleep at the police station in Den Bosch, RTL Nieuws reports.
The man, 26 years of age, walked into the police station asking for a place to sleep. When he heard that he would have to go somewhere else, he became stubborn.
The homeless man wanted to stay, but was forced to leave. At this point, the man took his cup of hot soup, bought from a machine on the premises, and threw it at a police officer's head.
Police officers hereby granted the homeless man his place to sleep, this being in a police cell as he was arrested. The homeless man is still in custody.
The officer was left with a painful cheek. He has filed a report against the homeless man, for attempted aggravated assault.
