Woman dies in car crash

A traffic accident in Weerselo claimed the life of a 33-year-old woman this morning. Police say the accident happened around 10.00am. It is not clear what caused the car the woman to veer onto the wrong side of the Lemselose street, where she was smashed head-on by an approaching truck. The woman who hailed from Weerselo died instantly. The driver of the truck, a 44-year-old man from Utrecht, was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries.
