One dead in serious accident, Goirle

A young man was killed in a very serious accident on the Poppelseweg in Goirle on Sunday. The man bumped into a tree with his car, and crashed into another tree on the other side of the road. It was a head-on collision. The car caught fire immediately. A trauma helicopter was called, but it appeared that the victim had already died. The Turnhoutsebaan has been entirely closed off for an investigation. Drivers are being diverted.
