NL World Cup match could be moved

The financial problems of the Porto Alegre host in the World Cup football in Brazil, may force the Netherlands and Australia to play their match, scheduled for June 18, elsewhere.

The FIFA is currently in Rio de Janeiro to discuss the problems around the Porto Alegre and the São Paulo stadiums. Porto Alegre needs additional funds to finish accommodations for media and sponsors in time. New legislation, exempting companies that invest in the stadium from taxes, should provide the funds needed. 4 Other matches are scheduled for the Porto Alegre stadium, in addition to the Netherlands-Australia match. The France-Honduras match is scheduled as early as June 15.
