Body found is missing woman

The body of 52-year-old Thea Oosting from Ravenswoud, who went missing on February 17, was found Tuesday afternoon in a ditch between the fields near the Meester Lokstraat. A passer-by spotted the body and notified the police. Oosting left a café in Appelscha around 01:30 on February 17, while her husband stayed behind. She was going to walk home, but went missing. Despite a large-scale search her body or whereabouts were never uncovered. A thorough investigation will have to uncover the cause of her demise.
