Plundering funeral treasurer emptied till

The treasurer of funeral association "Helpt Elkander" in Denekamp left the country, taking with him the contents of the till he was responsible for. The association had been under the impression that Van G. had Last month a police report was filed against the man, who was also a council member of the political party "Lokaal Dinkelland" in the City of Dinkelland. The treasurer disappeared early January, leaving the bills unpaid. He disappeared to Switzerland, when the theft came to light, but has disappeared off the grid all together since then. The members of the association were informed of the situation Friday evening during a meeting in Denekamp.
