Dutch nature organizations team up to cut costs

The Dutch Forestry Commission, Nature Reserves and 12 National Landscapes have decided to form a partnership for a stronger nature in the Netherlands.

Under the partnership, the three largest conservation organizations in the Netherlands will work together, share facilities, housing and equipment, and divide up the areas of work. The organizations will also leverage each other's expertise in timber harvesting and sales. By working together, the three organizations expect to save 10% of their annual budgets. In total, the organizations manage approximately 477,000 hectares of landscape.
