InHolland Univerisity lockdown ended

The InHolland University in Rotterdam was under lockdown Thursday evening, after police received a report around 18:00 of an armed person on the sixth floor of the location Posthumuslaan. The report was a false alarm, according to chairman Doekle Terpstra on location. Police responded quickly and an arrest team swept through the 15-story building, but no weapon was found. A police helicopter surveyed the area. It's not clear how many people were in the building at the time, but Thursdays are busy, and there were exams ongoing. Students reported on Twitter they were in the middle of their exams when suddenly they had to vacate the premises. Students and teachers had gathered in front of the building. The students were instructed to carefully leave the building, staying close to the walls, reported RTV Rijnmond.
