Top chef opening hot dog stand in Amsterdam

Ron Blaauw, famous Master Chef and TV personality is going to sell hotdogs in his new "The Fat Dog," scheduled to open in April in "de Pijp." Blaauw is going to combine traditional hotdogs with wine. "The Fat Dog" is inspired by the "Bubbledogs" from London, 'a champagne bar that doesn't serve caviar', but combines 'gourmet hotdogs with grower champagnes.' the fat dog, ron blaauw, Facebook "The Fat Dog" promises traditional hotdogs with the best toppings, served with bubbles, a fine wine, or gin tonic; simply "the best of 2 worlds,' according to his Facebook page. Ron Blaauw was the chef in his own restaurant, "Ron Blaauw," from 2011 to 2013 and was awarded two Michelin stars. He owns several other restaurants, and is the culinary manager of a company that manages several restaurants. In 2012 Blaauw was a member of the jury in the TV-show Junior MasterChef on SBS6.
