NL inflation rate rises in December

In the Netherlands, the inflation rate rose 1.7% in December, the national statistics office CBS announced on Thursday. Inflation Rate / Flickr The increase is attributed to clothes and petrol prices, according to CBS. Consumer prices in November were 1.5% higher than a year-ago. Calculated on the basis of the European harmonised method, the inflation rate rose to 1.4%, above the eurozone inflation rate of 0.8%.
