Dutch firm Yard Energy buys 900 MW wind portfolio
Dutch firm Yard Energy Group has acquired wind energy developer KDE Energy.
The deal excludes KDE Energy’s UK subsidiary Infinergy Ltd.
KDE Energy has a project pipeline of more than 900 megawatt (MW) in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Poland.
One megawatt can power 1000 homes.
"The addition of project development know-how and assets under development strengthens Yard Energy’s position in the wind energy sector and speeds up its expansion plans, Yard Energy said in a statement.
