Fireworks hotline down again
The hotline for reporting illegal fireworks was down several hours on Thursday as a result of a cyber-attack. Wednesday evening the site was down for several hours after a cyber attack, and Thursday it was attacked again.Earlier Thursday the site had registered a little over 10,000 complaints. Reports concerning loud bangs and damages by fireworks are coming in from all over the country, according to Arno Bonte, GroenLinks chairman in Rotterdam and one of the initiators for the Hotline. Bonte has no idea who could be responsible for the cyber attacks.
