Dutch Meat company Vion has intentionally sold regular meat as organic ham, investigators have found. Vion Logo / Wikipedia According to the investigation, the company’s Encebe Meat subsidiary has mislabeled ordinary meat as organic ham and more than 11,000 pounds of ordinary ham as organic ham last year, Nos reports on Monday. Former minister Hans Alders, who headed a commission investigating the matter, said there can be no doubt that this action is deliberate and the company’s leadership must have been aware of it.
