Matthijs Huizing leaves parliament

Liberal parliamentarian Matthijs Huizing has resigned after breaking drink driving rules. He was arrested for drink driving. Dutch Parliament / Flickr Huizing said in a statement that ''I regret to have to inform you that I have decided to withdraw as a member of the House of Representatives,” the NU.nl reports. "I have therefore asked the president'' to terminate my membership immediately, the statement said.
