Queen opens new Royal Netherlands Marechaussee barracks

Her Majesty Queen Máxima has opened the new barracks of the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee (KMar) in the area of Schiphol International Airport. Royal Netherlands Marechaussee / Wikipedia The new multifunctional complex was designed by Zvi Hecker Architects. It offers a variety of spaces to 1,800 staff of several branches of the Dutch Military Police, according to WebWire. The development, called Queen Máxima barracks, covers 40,000m2 and includes offices, sleeping quarters, a restaurant, meeting rooms, sports and training facilities and shooting ranges.
